The Role of The Holy Spirit In Your Life – He Calls You To Come…

SCRIPTURES: Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come”. And let him that heareth say, “Come”. And let him that is athirst “come”. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Isaiah 2:5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD. (See also: Isaiah 55:1-3; John 16:7-15).

THOUGHT: You may have felt that you are not good enough to join in the ranks of God’s people or to even deserve what God has to offer. Well, you are right. The Bible says no one is good enough (See Romans 3:10 and Romans 3:23). While no one is good enough to earn fellowship with God, He still calls us into relationship with Him by confessing our sins and accepting the pardon that He offers by the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ. It is the Blood of Jesus Christ that washes away or sins and makes us acceptable to God, not anything that we could do or offer Him. Revelation 22:17 lets us know that all are welcome. It says “Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely”. The Spirit of God calls us to come unto God to receive His forgiveness and love. Today is a good day to come.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I hear the voice of Your Spirit calling me to come. Today I come to You. I thank You for sending Your Son to sacrifice His life for me. Please forgive me of my sins and establish me in Your Kingdom. I realize that Holy Spirit also calls me to come into a deeper relationship, to become more and more like You. This also is my desire. Today, I come and surrender for a deeper relationship and deeper fellowship with You, with Your Son, with Your Spirit and with Your Kingdom here on earth. Father in Heaven, Today, I come. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
