The Role of The Holy Spirit In Your Life – He Transforms You…

SCRIPTURES: 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Romans 15:16b … sanctified by the Holy Ghost. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (See also Romans 8:29; Romans 12:2; 1 Cor 6:11; Ephesians 4:22-24; 2 Thessalonians 2:13).

THOUGHT: The Holy Spirit sanctifies you or sets you apart to transform your character and your life from what it had been in the past to a life that is pleasing unto God. This process is ongoing from day to day and is only possible as you cooperate with Him and allow Him to do His work of purification and cleansing of your life. As you read the Word of God daily, allow yourself also to become planted in a church of believers and commit yourself to following the guidance and direction of Holy Spirit, you will see your life changing from time to time. You will see that you grow more and more in harmony with God, His Spirit and His Word. Old things will pass away and all things will become new.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I surrender my life to You to be transformed. I will listen and be obedient to what You say to me through Your Word and by Your Spirit. Lord, change and transform my life so that I am more and more like You. Plant me in a church of good Bible preaching and serious, loving believers so that I can listen and learn and grow in my knowledge of how to apply the Word to my own life. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
