SCRIPTURE: Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD, thy God, He is God, the FAITHFUL GOD [JEHOVAH EL HANNE’EMAN], which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations. Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for He is faithful that promised😉 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
THOUGHT: Moses proclaimed the Faithfulness of the LORD (Deut 7:9) to those who are in covenant relationship with Him. Throughout the centuries many others have attested to the fact that the LORD [JEHOVAH] is THE FAITHFUL GOD [EL HANNE’EMAN]. Faithfulness is demonstrated by keeping promises and actually doing what one says they will do. A faithful person is a reliable and trustworthy person. Under most circumstances you already know what a faithful person will do. In the Bible, God tells you about His character and makes many promises to you. He also tells you what He expects from you.
God is Faithful and He can be trusted. Are you faithful to God and are you trustworthy in the eyes of those who depend on you? Do your words resonate with the sound of integrity and trust in the ears of your hearers or do they just wait to see if you will do what you say?
PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, THE FAITHFUL GOD [JEHOVAH EL HANNE’EMAN]: You are faithful! You have made salvation and deliverance available to me as You promised (Hebrews 10:23; 1 John 1:9). I am thankful that You keep Your Word and that You are reliable and trustworthy. I desire to be just like You in every way. I will watch my words, so that I do what I say I will do. I surrender my life to You, needing Your help, so that my life can be a life of faithfulness and integrity. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!
