SCRIPTURES: Exodus 3:13-15 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. 15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

THOUGHT: The name Jehovah is said to mean Lord and Master, “the One Who Brings into Existence Whatever Exists“, and also rendered as “I AM” as seen in both the Old and New Testaments. It is the name of the Eternal, Independent, Self-Existent God. He exists without relation to time – “…from Everlasting to Everlasting…” (see Psalm 90:2; Psalm 103:17 & Psalm 106:48). His Eternal Being exists in “the now” with all events and everything that exists having it’s origins in Him. We see life in parts and slivers of time and space while God sees everything, everyone, and every event that has ever occurred or will occur as if it is all in “the now”. Since God created time and space, He stands over it, outside of it, He controls it, and directs it but He is not subject to it. So, He lives in the Eternal Present. No one else makes such a claim or perfectly balances such power and authority. He is not only the great God of the Universe, He is also the God of your life and a very personal, caring and present friend and a help in time of need. He can be trusted.

PRAYER: Dear Father: Knowing that You are the Eternal Creator of all things, including time, makes me stop to give You the praise and honor that You deserve. Since You created time and stand above it, then You already know my beginning and my end. Knowing that You are a Loving and Merciful God makes me want to serve You and please You even more. Lord, I invite You into every area of my life to plan and orchestrate the events as You see fit, and for Your glory to be made more manifest unto others. Bring me into the peace of “the now” of Your perfect will and cleanse me to be used as a vehicle and vessel of Your glory. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
