SCRIPTURES: 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and JUST to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Romans 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be JUST, and the JUSTIFIER of him which believeth in Jesus.
THOUGHT: To say that God is JUST is to say that He always is and always acts in a way that is morally upright and good, or Righteous. God is a “Person” of supreme integrity and all of His character traits come into play in Justice or Judgment, such as His Goodness, Wisdom, Knowledge, Truth, Righteousness, Faithfulness, etc. For example, He is JUST and He is also Merciful. So He made a way to pardon your sin by the blood of His own Son, while keeping His JUST character in tact. God is not unrighteous (see Hebrews 6:10). You can have confidence that God is a JUST judge and that He is also compassionate and will do what is right as it relates to your life. Having this confidence means that you can trust the Salvation that God, the JUST Judge has provided by His Son, Jesus Christ. God also requires that as a recipient of His compassion that you will also mix JUSTICE with Mercy and Compassion in your relationships with others.
PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father and MY JUST GOD: Thank You for Your mercy and compassion in giving me salvation in Your Son Jesus Christ. I am so grateful and I will also do the same in my relationships with others. Help me to be more and more like You every day and in every way. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!
ADDITIONAL SCRIPTURES: Hebrews 6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. Luke 18:7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men , in that he hath raised him from the dead.
