JEHOVAH SITRAH – THE LORD IS MY HIDING PLACE

SCRIPTURES: PSALM 119:114 THOU ARE MY HIDING PLACE [JEHOVAH SITRAH] and my shield: I hope in thy word. PSALM 32:7 THOU ART MY HIDING PLACE [JEHOVAH SITRAH]; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

THOUGHT: The word translated as “hiding place” means “a covering or a secret” and thus based on the context, “a hiding place”. In the context of the believer’s relationship to the LORD it is that He, Himself that is your HIDING PLACE or PLACE OF REFUGE – the place that you run to when you need help.  PSALM 61:3-4 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. 4 I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the COVERT [SITRAH] of thy wings. Selah.

PRAYER: DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER and LORD GOD MY HIDING PLACE: Your secrets are with those who fear, reverence and honor You. You will teach and show your covenant to them (Psalm 25:12-14). You are MY HIDING PLACE. Give me Your protection and guidance and show me the secrets of life and living. I seek You as my refuge in regards to all aspects and in all areas of my life. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
