EL YAHKOL – GOD MOST ABLE

SCRIPTURES: Daniel 3:17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is ABLE to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. Daniel 6:20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, ABLE to deliver thee from the lions?

THOUGHT: EL YAHKOL means GOD MOST ABLE, or THE GOD WHO IS MOST ABLE. When the three Hebrew boys were threatened with being thrown into the fiery furnace they responded that “God… is ABLE to deliver” (Daniel 3:17). When Daniel was in the lion’s den, the king asked “if his God was ABLE” to deliver him from the mouths of the lions (Daniel 6:20). The ability referred to is often power, might, strength, knowledge or wisdom. Only the LORD God has the ability to always know what to do and to always be able to get it done. Therefore, in any and every situation of life you may look to Him to guide you, to show you the way or to deliver you from the potential disaster of your circumstances. He is GOD MOST ABLE – EL YAHKOL and I encourage you to completely surrender to Him and call upon Him in the day of trouble and He will deliver you. Psalm 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. Jeremiah 32:27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, GOD MOST ABLE: I call upon You today knowing that You are able to bring me and my family out of any situation that we find ourselves in. I surrender to You and ask that You lead and guide my life and my family. I seek unto You knowing that there is nothing too hard for You. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

ADDITIONAL SCRIPTURES: Deuteronomy 4:7 For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for? Psalm 116:2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. Psalm 145:18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. Jeremiah 32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
