JEHOVAH EL KEDEM – LORD GOD ETERNAL

SCRIPTURES: Habbakuk 1:12a Art thou not from EVERLASTING, O LORD MY GOD [JEHOVAH EL KEDEM], mine Holy One? Deuteronomy 33:27a THE ETERNAL GOD [EL KEDEM] is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms… Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old [KEDEM], from everlasting.

THOUGHT: JEHOVAH EL KEDEM is the LORD GOD ETERNAL. The word KEDEM is used in a variety of ways, being translated as “east”, the place from where ancient things were located including the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:8), as “ancient” as in the wisdom and work of God (2 Kings 19:25), also as “from of old”, “everlasting” and ‘eternal”. You can be sure that the Wisdom of God, The Word of God and the Works of God are from of old, from ancient times, are everlasting and have stood the test of time.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father – LORD GOD ETERNAL [JEHOVAH EL KEDEM]: You are the Holy One who is from Everlasting. I give You my worship, honor and praise because only You know the end of a thing before it even begins. Therefore, since You are ETERNAL and already know the end, I submit my life, my plans and my activities to You for You to guide and direct me. Please protect me from being distracted or discouraged from going forward with the plans that You have made for me. ETERNAL GOD and Father, work in me and through me to accomplish the things that You desire, In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
