The Role of The Holy Spirit in Your Life – He Gives You Patience and Assurance…

SCRIPTURES: Galatians 5:5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. Romans 8:24-25 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Lamentations 3:25-26 The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. 26 It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

THOUGHT: Since you have responded to God’s call, you are eagerly, but patiently waiting for all things to wrap up, for your Savior to come back and for all things to be fulfilled as was foretold by Jesus Himself, the prophets and the apostles (2 Thessalonians 3:5). This is called “that Blessed Hope” (Titus 2:13), and it is your waiting with anticipation and patience for the Son of God to return (1 Thessalonians 1:10), so that all of the future blessings and promises of God may be fulfilled. You are told that, “It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.” (Lamentations 3:26).

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, Abba: Thank You for these teachings regarding the Role of Holy Spirit in My Life. I thank You that You have made provision for the help of Holy Spirit so that I can hope, quietly and patiently wait for the return of Jesus Christ. I have this hope and patient waiting because of the promise of Salvation in Jesus’ name. I hold on to this hope, belief and expectation while all things that have been prophesied are being brought to pass. I receive and acknowledge the Holy Spirit of God who also brings me joy and peace while I am waiting. Thank You for this patient assurance and hope, In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
