The Role of Holy Spirit In Your Life – He Fills You…

Acts 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

THOUGHT: Jesus said that they should wait for the promise of the Father, which was to fill them with His Holy Spirit. Just like the disciples, you receive the Spirit’s Indwelling the moment you accept Jesus Christ as Savior. You receive the Spirit’s Infilling when you are obedient and when you ask for Him (See Acts 5:32 & Luke 11:13). The infilling gives you power to live a Godly life and power to open your mouth to tell others what Christ has done for you.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I sincerely believe in You, and in Your saving power. Please forgive me of my sins. I accept Your gift of Salvation. However, my life is up and down and right now and I do not represent You as I should. I need this Infilling of Your Spirit to give me the power to live a Godly life every day. I also need Your power to witness, in speaking clearly and boldly about what You have done for me. Because Your Word says this gift is for me, I receive it today, by faith, as I pray this prayer. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
