SCRIPTURE: Psalm 75:6-7 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. 7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Daniel 4:25b “… know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

THOUGHT: We are extremely divided in philosophies as a nation. Therefore, this election is extremely pivotal for this nation’s future and it is up to its citizens to understand what is at stake in their choices.

One group plans to return to a moral America based on its Biblical and historical foundations, with freedom and opportunity for all, while recognizing that all our gifts and blessings come from God. Another group wishes to continue its quest to move the country away from its Biblical foundations, experimenting with ideologies and philosophies that have historically led to the ruin of nations.

There is only one stand that we can take as God-fearing men and women.

PRAYER: LORD we ask Your forgiveness for how we have strayed. We pray for our nation as its citizen go to the polls on this final day of the election. We pray that, by this vote, the nation sends a signal to You and to its leaders confirming a commitment to Godly and Biblical values.

LORD, protect all citizens, residents, candidates and voters from bias, violence and retribution. We pray for a clear result so that there is no doubt about the outcome. Bring peace to our land, O LORD.

Turn us around LORD, that we as a nation turn back to the source from which we came. Let it be a Sovereign work of Your own hand to turn this nation around. In Jesus’ Name. AMEN!

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
