SCRIPTURES: Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Matthew 5:23-24 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

Ephesians 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

THOUGHTS: In our fellowship circle we have a Scripture-based saying regarding our relationships with God and man:
Be quick to Repent; Be quick to Forgive; Be Obedient and Walk in Love“.
The basis of our salvation is God’s Love for us despite our Disobedience, leading Him to send His Son, Jesus Christ to pay the price for our sins to be Forgiven when we Repent.
So we must practice these things in all our ways as His children.
We find that being quick to Repent helps to rid us of sin or evil tendencies so that they do not become rooted in our lives or behavior.
Being quick to Forgive keeps offence and resentment from getting rooted in our hearts.
We were saved from Disobedience, so now we are called to Walk in Obedience to the LORD who saved us.
God is Love and has shed His Love upon us so we must also Walk in His Love.

PRAYER: LORD, because of sin and due to our frailties, there is so much offence in the earth.  LORD help me to: “Be quick to Repent; Be quick to Forgive; Be Obedient and Walk in Love”.
LORD, You have given me a gift of Forgiveness that I did not deserve and I am thankful. I am Your child, so I give those that have hurt me, the gift of Forgiveness that they may not deserve, just as You have given me.
Forgive me for the offence, grudges, and Un-forgiveness that I have held in the past. I release it all now, In Jesus’ Name. AMEN!

PRAYER FOR OUR NATION: LORD, we see in our nation the anger and bitterness of one group against another. We see the offences and revenge seeking of our leaders and our people in the streets. LORD, we call upon You to act in our nation to bring about civility, love, compassion and unity.

We recognize that a large portion of our nation has walked away from You. We intercede for our nation that You would raise up a remnant of righteous leaders, that You would turn the tide of secularism and humanism, that you would turn this nation back to its roots of relationship and covenant with You.
We pray that Your will be done in this coming election. That men and women of integrity and character will be seated and that the hearts of incumbents would turn to walk after Your Righteous Precepts.
Turn it around, LORD!
These things we pray, In Jesus’ Name. AMEN!

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
