The Role of Holy Spirit In Your Life – He Strengthens You…

Ephesians 3:14-16 (14) For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, (15) Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, (16) That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; Psalm 138:3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

THOUGHT: Do you feel as though you need more strength to get through each day? God promised to strengthen us internally to withstand anything and everything we may encounter during each day. By accepting and receiving His Spirit, you have His power residing within you. The word “might”, in its original context, means special power and ability to achieve and accomplish what you have to do. So this means not only to just get through your day, but to accomplish your day victoriously. PRAYER: Lord, I need more strength! I need the power of Your Spirit on the inside of me to power me through my days so that I may accomplish them victoriously. I receive another measure of Your Spirit so that I may live victoriously, accomplishing my responsibilities as You intended. I receive this power of Holy Spirit by faith. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
