THE LORD GOD IS GOOD

SCRIPTURES: Psalms 86:5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.   Psalms 100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.    Psalms 145:8-9 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. 9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.    Psalms 31:19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!    Psalms 86:5 For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

THOUGHT: The LORD GOD IS GOOD! The LORD GOD, who created everything, is the essence of what is perfect GOODNESS and it is demonstrated in all that He created as well as His kindness, compassion and mercy towards you. As your Creator He has planned what is best and He is GOOD to you as well as to all others. However, His benefits and blessings are even better towards those who love Him, obey Him and reverence Him. For you to receive what is for your absolute best good, it would require your complete surrender to the LORD God who is purely GOOD and from whom all GOODNESS comes.     (NOTE: James 1:17 Every GOOD gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.)

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father and LORD GOD OF ALL GOODNESS: Thank You for all of the GOOD gifts that You have given me. It is with gratitude that I recognize that all GOOD comes from You and that this has always been Your plan. Forgive me for the times that I have gone against Your good will, Your good purposes and Your good plans. I surrender to all of the perfect plans that You have made for me. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
