40 DAYS OF PRAYER FOR OUR NATION – DAY 21 10/14/2020

REPENT FOR AND RENOUNCING ABORTION AND MURDER:

SCRIPTURES: Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, [and] I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Deuteronomy 19:10 That innocent blood be not shed in thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee.

THOUGHT: It is clear from these and many other Scriptures that God says do not kill, and that God considers the life formed in the womb and already has plans for that innocent, fragile and vulnerable life. We must protect the weak, not dispose of and discard of them on the altar of our own convenience.

PRAYER: LORD, I repent for any participation in my life in abortion, including my silence while others did it, I knew about it and said nothing.

LORD, I pray for our nation, where the shedding of blood in this way has become a daily occurrence, bolstered by legal decrees and by the spread of a concept of personal rights over the rights of the innocent fetal life.

We also pray regarding the violence and murder in our streets and homes. Bring us back to righteousness as our foundation.

Turn us around LORD, that we as a nation turn back to the source from which we came. Let it be a Sovereign work of Your own hand to turn this nation around. In Jesus’ Name.  AMEN!

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
