JEHOVAH EL ADON HAGGADOL GIBBOR YARE – LORD GOD & MASTER; GREAT, MIGHTY & AWESOME

SCRIPTURE: Deuteronomy 10:17 For the LORD your Godis God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

THOUGHT:  This verse describes the LORD as Lord of all lords, God of all gods, a Great, Mighty and Terrible or Awesome God. The LORD God is the Creator of all that exists and is therefore the author and owner. He is the One True God who always was and always will be. He is GREAT, MIGHTY and He is AWESOME. It is He that determines the purposes and proper uses of all created things, including your very life. His names describe His nature or character, His position and His abilities. As such, He deserves to be honored, to be respected above all else and to be obeyed.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father: You truly are the One and Only Great, Might and Awesome God. You are the Lord of all lords and the God of all gods. I love, honor and respect You with Godly Fear for who you truly are. Create in me a heart to learn more of You and to grow more in ways that are pleasing to You. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
