JEHOVAH EL MISGAB – LORD GOD MY DEFENDER

SCRIPTURES: Psalms 59:8-9 But thou, O LORD [JEHOVAH], shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision. 9 Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for GOD IS MY DEFENSE, [EL MISGAB]. Psalms 59:16-17 But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been MY DEFENSE and refuge in the day of my trouble. 17 Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for GOD IS MY DEFENSE, [EL MISGAB], and the God of my mercy. Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

THOUGHT: Sometimes there are authorities and powers, or maybe bullies that treat you unjustly in the home, at school, at work, in financial transactions, in relationships and even at church. Where do you turn and who do you go to when you are being dealt with unfairly? The LORD God is the Protector and Defender of the down-trodden for He is JEHOVAH EL MISGAB. He is aware of all the injustice that has come your way and stands ready to come to your aid if you will call on Him. He is your refuge, your strength and the LORD GOD YOUR DEFENDER.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father and MY LORD and MY GOD and MY DEFENDER: I turn to You in every situation where I am wronged. I look to You as my Protector and My LORD, My God and My Defender – MY EL MISGAB, GOD OF MY DEFENSE. Where ever I may be and whatever situation I am in I will call upon You to lead me, to guide me and to defend and protect me. I see that I can count on You as You have asked that I come to You and allow You to take the situations of my life into Your hands. I trust that You will be my DEFENDER in each and every situation. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!
