JEHOVAH GIBBOR MILCHAMAH – THE LORD MIGHTY IN BATTLE:

SCRIPTURES: Psalm 24:7-10 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD STRONG and MIGHTY, the LORD MIGHTY in BATTLE. 9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of HOSTS, he is the King of glory. Selah. (See also Exodus 15:3-14)

THOUGHT: The LORD, who is “JEHOVAH SABAOTH – the LORD of HOSTS”, is also “JEHOVAH GIBBOR MILCHAMAH – the LORD Strong and Mighty, the LORD Mighty in Battle”. To say that the LORD is STRONG refers to God’s Power, Strength and Capability to fight for you as His child. To say that the LORD is also MIGHTY amplifies the understanding of His Power, Strength and Might. This word was used to refer to the greatest of heroes, champions and warriors, those who have been victorious in difficult battles. You can be assured that when you commit your life to the God who created you and who sent His Son to redeem you, that He is able to fight any battle and that He will be victorious.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, JEHOVAH GIBBOR MILCHAMAH – THE LORD Strong and Mighty in Battle: Knowing that You are the Greatest of all Warriors with all Power, Might and Strength gives me every reason to follow You, serve You, obey You and love You, because You are victorious and You know how to bring about victory. I yield to Your Authority, Might and Strength, In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!

About Pastor Lawrence A. Fox

We believe that along with many others, we are called by Jesus Christ to engage in a world-wide effort to reach those in and out of the Christian world with the message of full salvation and healing in His name. This effort starts in our own hearts through the power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. It then finds growth and nourishment in the fellowship of the local church and fans out through every believer’s home, in our neighborhoods, with our relatives, in the workplace and in every human interaction that we engage in on this side of eternity. We are excited to be ambassadors for God in bringing His message to a lost and dying world. II Corinthians 5:18-20 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
